I am very excited to share with you that my book, “Journey from Bondage to Freedom,” has been published and is available online in paperback and electronic format. Our third Mountain Democrat column of 2015 has been published this year (July 29, 2015) ~ “Seventeen Years” ~ written by Marcia Rose. Excerpt: “It all began with an idea when someone said to me that individuals with bipolar disorder need to be together, because they feel alone. July 2015 Being forced to stop running from the fear within me creates a moment of truth. I spend the majority of my time working. I have always known that I work to escape. Work removes the belief that I am useless. We all have an escape in our lives, something we do to chase away what you truly think of yourself. When did we go from the child who sees the wonders of life to running as fast as we can to escape the truth? For each of us, the date and time varies, or maybe there are many dates and times. Each time pushed us to run, not run away, but to run within. I remember the year 1994 … I was not aware that this was the moment my life would end, yet it did. I did not die psychically, I died inside, I gave up. If you saw me from the outside you would comment, “Look at all the good work she does.” But, if you could peek inside, you would see me cry. I know I am not alone; I know many are reading this and saying, “Yes, that is me.” We are many. Today, I saw the truth. Today, I began the healing. I look into the mirror and say, “You’re something, an amazing women…” and believing it. Join me as it’s time we live again. Together we can do anything. I believe in you. XXOO,...Read More
